Kristen Hovey

Kristen, a living liver donor, is the passionate founder and driving force behind the Lil Lambs of Jesus organization. Her personal experience and dedication are at the heart of the organization’s mission.

Isaac Hernandez

Isaac, a liver transplant recipient who received his gift of life from Kristen, is a co-founder of the Lil Lambs of Jesus organization. His personal journey and gratitude for a second chance at life inspire his dedication to this vital cause.

Judy Wilson

Judy, instrumental in raising awareness about living liver donation, profoundly impacted Kristen’s journey. As the mother of Josh Barton, who tragically passed away at Nebraska Medicine, Judy channels her experience into advocating for organ donation, transforming personal loss into a beacon of hope for others.

Christine Villarreal

Christine is the mother of Isaac, who received a life-changing liver donation from Kristen. She possesses a unique understanding of utilizing social media to connect with living liver donors. Her experience in this crucial area of outreach and support is invaluable.

Sharon Perry

Sharon, a dedicated mother and caregiver to a living liver donor, brings her extensive experience in serving on various boards and her expertise in grant writing to our team.

Kit Hovey

Kit, the supportive husband of a living liver donor, brings a wealth of experience from his extensive service on various boards. Currently, he serves as the Treasurer for the City of Badger and holds a position on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army, demonstrating his commitment to community service and organizational leadership.

Michelle Hammersland

As a proactive member of an autism awareness group and a staunch advocate for individuals with disabilities, Michelle brings personal and professional insights. Her expertise in policies and procedures further strengthens her advocacy efforts.

Marina Ruppel

Marina shares her talent for weaving visuals and narratives into compelling designs. As the official illustrator for our treasured book, she brings stories to life with her artistry, adding depth and color to the pages that reach out to children and families.
